Max Garden’s breed shih-tzus in a very small scale.

We live in Onsala, south of Gothenburg, in the country near by the sea. My shih-tzus live with me “around my legs” and keep me company both in the house and in the garden. All are very happy with a wonderful temperament.

How did it all start?
In 1991 I bought a handsome looking male named Mad Max “Teddy” from Ziams kennel. He had a fine temperament and was a brilliant show dog and very soon he became a success in the show rings. He gained C.C.s, CACIBs and the titles Intuch Norduch SW-99. His last show was 2004, at the age of 13 years and he then became BOS.

After 10 years in the show rings I started my own breeding programme and Mad Max is father or grandfather to the females in the kennel. These females have then given birth to several good – looking puppies with a pleasant temperament and I hope that some of them will follow in Mad Max’s footsteps.

My goal is to breed healthy, harmonic, beautiful and race typical shih-tzus with the right attitude.

In my house you will find a show dog as well as a “best friend”.

I like to keep in touch with our emigrated shih-tzus and, of course, give life-long support to their families.
